Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device and that are sent back to the server with every request. They are commonly used for logins, preferences, analytics, and — far too often — for tracking you around the internet. A related browser feature, localStorage, also stores data on your device, but unlike cookies it is never transmitted to a server automatically.
What we use
Another CV Maker sets no cookies at all— not “only necessary ones”, none. We use localStorage for exactly two things, both required for the service to work:
acm-resume — your CV draft and customization settings, so your work is still there when you come back. acm-cookie-ok — a single flag remembering that you dismissed the storage notice banner, so we don’t show it on every visit.
Neither is used for tracking, analytics, or advertising, and neither is ever sent to our servers. They never leave your browser.
Third-party cookies
None. The site loads no third-party trackers, analytics scripts, ad networks, social widgets, or embedded content that could set cookies on our behalf.
How to clear it
You can remove everything at any time: use the “New CV” button in the builder to wipe your draft, or clear the site data for anothercvmaker.com in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or History). This deletes both localStorage entries and resets the banner. There is no server-side copy — once it is gone, it is gone.
Changes to this policy
If our storage practices ever change, this page will be updated with a new “last updated” date. We would tell you here first, mostly because there is no other way to reach you.
